238-2T-CH Enlarged, Two-Tier 1933 “Streamline Art Deco” Chandelier
A smaller, but similar, chandelier was shown in the 1933 Lightolier catalog for Builders, Architects, and Decorators. It came from the series that Lightolier called “Luxart”. However, a demand for a larger and more imposing chandelier took us back to the drawing board with this lovely result.
The result is this fantastic two-tier, imposing chandelier for larger applications. Inside, there are ten total sockets for full, or more reduced, lighting. The decision is yours based on the needs. We like it with monster LEDābulbs for a full and impressive lighting effect.
This frame is, and originally was, made from a combo of aluminum and other white metals.
Measurements: 28” in diameter with full, quantity 22 of opal glass shades and a height from 58” to 66” tall (or taller if desired).
While this chandelier is wired for a single connection (one circuit), it could be divided so that the outside six sockets (lighting the opal shades) could be one circuit and the four sockets...inside the Halophane bowl...are a second circuit. This works if three levels of lighting are desired (i.e. outside shades only...halophane bowl only...and then...combined).
A full UL mounting kit will be supplied.
The glass opal shade is stock numbered 0236G if replacement is ever required.
Price: $5,750.00 complete plus crating and shipping.
