ZE-700  Door Hardware Reproduction Rare Victorian Lady Thumblatch by R&E Circa 1870

This rare reproduction is the only thumb latch shown in the 1870 Russell & Erwin catalog.

The backplate for the thumblatch features a smiling Victorian woman with a bird on her shoulder.

Very elegantly designed, very faithfully reproduced using lost wax casting like fine jewelry.  Think of it as House Jewelry!  Hand darkened to an antique bronze finish, and lacquered to preserve its tone.

It can be used with our reproduction R&E 2" backset door lock for a completely authentic high end Victorian look.
