ZE-24 Reproduction R&E Classic Lady Door Knob
Lady with bonnet profile doorknob designed by MCCC/R&E. Molded directly from the original, which was one of the first four original patented Kreuzinger knobs (Design Pat: # 4099). Why pay thousands for an original, when you can own a piece of home décor history with our accurate reproduction?
Our reproduction is cast in silicon bronze, and lacquered to protect the finish. A perfect complement to our Knight doorknob. This lady could be Victorian, or she could be a goddess or classical figure, perhaps even the knight's damsel. Picture these two on a set of double doors leading to your library.

This knob is sold by each. To make a set, order two knobs and a connecting spindle. For extra thick doors, you may purchase an extra long square doorknob shaft spindle separately, which may be trimmed as needed.
We offer an extensive selection of Victorian doorknob roses and doorknob backplates in many styles to suit this doorknob. Of course, our pick would be an R.E. door plate!
How far from the edge of the door is the center of your doorknob? This is the backset, which determines the type of latch or mortise lock you use. For a 2 3⁄8" backset, we offer a tubular latch, and a privacy tubular deadbolt latch option. Very narrow panel doors, or doors with lots of glass may need a 1 3⁄8" backset passage latch.
If you prefer a full mortise lock with key function and mortise lock with privacy turnlatch function, we have 1 ¾", 2 ¼" or 2 5⁄8" backset. If you also need a turnlatch knob, we have an oval knob turnlatch, and the popular crescent shape turnlatch.
We also make a lovely Windsor doorplate with the turnlatch included. This doorknob would look great on a Windsor door plate.
