ZB-400TL Windsor Pattern 2 1/4" Backset Lock with Turnlatch Function

Reading Hardware Company's Windsor Victorian door hardware was arguably the finest door hardware made in America. We take equal pride in bringing you the authentically recast hardware. This Windsor design lock is made using the Lost Wax casting method for excellent detail.

We hand-darken the finish to an "antique" tone, and lacquer to preserve the look. This mortise lock is offered with a choice of function: either skeleton key or turnlatch. Use the drop down menu to select the function.

The mortise has a lock body measurement of 3 3/4" tall, 3 3/16" deep, and 5/8" thick. The faceplate measures 1" wide by 6" tall and is 3/16" thick.

ZB-400WN Skeleton Key Mortise The backset is 2 1/4", and the distance from the center of the doorknob receiver to the center of the round keyhole bit is 2 1/4". Two keys and mounting screws are included.

ZB-400TL Turnlatch Mortise The backset is 2 1/4", and the distance from the center of the doorknob receiver to the center of the turnlatch receiver is 2 1/2". The turnlatch knob itself is not included, but we have an ample choice of latches , and door plates that include the turnlatch, such as L-26T . This gives you the greatest flexibility in decorating options.
