ANT-666 Pair of Antique Streamline Art Deco Sconces Circa 1938
Lovely pair of circa 1930s Romanesque Streamline design wall sconces. Original antique backplates, and original antique shades. The column design of the backplates, which also matches the panel design in the shades, just says "Romanesque Streamline Deco". The pewter finished backplates with custard panel design shades match very nicely indeed.
Measurements:
-
Height: 10 ½" overall.
-
Width: 6 ¾" maximum, including the shade.
-
Projection: 7" from the wall into the room.
These sconces have been completely rewired with all new sockets and wire to UL standards in our registered UL shop. Medium base sockets were installed, as well as a rotary switch to replace the faulty antique ones.
We suggest using our neat little LED bulb 45G-E26B (pictured below) if these sconces are for ambiance, and less than full room light. This little 2 watt bulb produces almost as much light as a 25 watt incandescent bulb, but only nibbles at the electricity. AND...it lasts 30,000 hours. But naturally, any medium base, normal, incandescent bulbs will work just fine too.
Price: $395.00 for the pair...plus shipping.
