ANT-640 Pair of Antique Streamline Art Deco Sconces Circa 1930
Lovely pair of Circa 1930 Streamline design wall sconces. Original antique backplates, and original antique shades.
The lined design of the backplates, which also matches the line design in the shades, just screams "Streamline Deco." The contrasting cast iron frame with the nickel plated steel elements are so very striking.
Pewter finished backplates, paired with light yellow and contrasting clear design shades.
Measurements:
-
Height: 10 ½" overall.
-
Width: 6 ½" maximum (shade width).
-

These sconces have been completely rewired with all new sockets and wire to UL standards. We suggest using our neat little LED bulb 45G-E26B (pictured below) if these sconces are for ambiance only, and less than full room light. This little 2 watt bulb produces almost as much light as a 25 watt incandescent bulb, but only nibbles at the electricity. AND....it lasts 30,000 hours. But naturally, any medium base, normal, incandescent bulbs will work just fine too.
$375.00 for the pair...plus shipping.
