ANT-599  Pair of Polychrome Turn of the Century Wall Sconces with Ruby Tipped Amber Shades

What a nice turn-of-the-century pair of sconces these are!  Original polychrome colors in VERY good condition.  We hope the pictures do these sconces justice since they are in remarkable condition.

Those original antique shades are simply works of art by themselves.  The shades were pressed into a mold for the pattern, then the ruby-tipped edges were applied.  The combination of amber and ruby glass is very attractive.

• Width:  4 ¾"
• Projection:  6" from the wall into the room.

These sconces have been completely rewired in our UL shop with new sockets to conform to UL guidelines.  The sconce backplates have a switch installed at the center which was renewed when the sconces were rewired.  Each socket is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb...but...due to the shade height...bulbs need to be chosen carefully.  We used our little LED bulbs 45G-E26B, and we will give them to you since they fit the fixture so wonderfully.  This bulb gives a great output for ambiant sconces.

These sconces are ready to go, and will be supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware.
