ANT-415  Pair of Antique Wall Sconces Circa 1920

Lovely pair of circa 1920 wall sconces.

Mixed metals are being used here, with a brass backplate, and white metal arm and shade holder. Interesting contrasts.

The antique shades are very complimentary.  They have an amber background with a darker design accent.  Some wear and tear on the shade colors (as expected with old shades), but nothing terribly significant.

These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new original rayon twisty wire.  We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and still made up to ONE year ago.  So these switches are becoming even more antique as we note this.

• Projection:  7" from the wall into the room.
