ZLW-490TL Griffin or Dragon Victorian Replica Turnlatch Door Plate 23" Tall 

This is a wonderful mythological griffin or dragon motif entrance door plate, to be used on the interior of an entrance door. The turnlatch operates the deadbolt for security.

The original antique door plate is very rare, and was made by Sargent & Co. just before the turn of the century. Ours is recreated by the Lost Wax casting process (same method as fine jewelry making) and is enhanced with an antique brass finish. The head of the dragon is the working thumblatch device. The exterior matching door plate offers a spot for a modern cylinder bolt. Use our mortise lock with cylinder lock for a complete door set. Since this door plate uses the antique brass finish, use the drop down menu to select the antique finish on the mortise lock.

Backplate measures 23" x 3 3/8". Handle projects 3". Distance from the turnbolt stem to the thumblatch stem is 3 3/4".
