Here is an outstanding interior front door plate from the Corbin catalog of 1905. Naturally, they made this before this time, but this is just the first documenting reference we could find. Corbin gave them the name "Toulon Design" which is of the French Renaissance school of design.

We make these plates by lost wax casting and they are simply gorgeous.They can be used for both left and right hand doors as the handle is removable to turn around and use for the other "hand" of the door.

3 1/2" widest by 22 1/4" tall. Distance from turnlatch stem to thumblatch stem is 3 1/2".
