Seen in the PF Corbin Catalog of 1905, but naturally made before then.  The catalog was just the provenance that we found to positively identify this fine manufacturer.

This line is called the Toulon Design, which is of the French Renaissance school of design.  The plates are made using the lost wax casting method, to retain the beautiful fine lines, keeping them crisp.  The handle can be turned for left or right handed doors.
