835-HRC-CH Polished Unlacquered Brass Neo Rococo Six Arm Recreated Chandelier Gasolier
835-HRC-DK Antique Brass Finish Neo Rococo Recreated Six Arm Chandelier Gasolier
Unless you've been in the most high end Victorian mansions, you've never seen anything like this. Our recreated SIX ARM Neo-Rococo Gasolier is circa 1840 and was originally made by Starr, Fellows of New York. Its beauty is truly timeless. From 1840 onward, its presence graced Antebellum homes; New York townhouses; and Chicago mansions (and others) alike.
Our beautiful reproduction is made by the Lost Wax casting technique from solid brass, the casting process used for fine jewelry. Each link in the lovely ornate chain must be individually made.
Our light maintains authenticity by utilizing the early gas 2 5/8” shade fitters. Shades are sold separately for the greatest variety of personalization, or you may use antique shades.
We show these fine lights in their natural unlacquered brass state, but if you are performing a historic restoration or matching older hardware, inquire about our hand-applied patinas. We can change the brass to an antique brass finish.
As delivered, it is 51” tall, but it can be shortened anywhere from 51” to 31”. Or, if required to be taller, we can supply a rococo extension kit which can add as much as 39 additional inches for each kit used. Kits can be put together for extra high ceilings. It has a 34” spread when fitted with 7” ball shades. The decorative canopy is 7 1/2" in diameter, including the decorative elements.
Pictured here also are a ball shade with the brass crown, plus two fixtures to complement this chandelier. Complete your authentic rococo lighting with one arm or two arm rococo wall sconces. For extra high ceilings or very large rooms, try our 30 light chandelier . Impressive!
