Attributed to the Reading Hardware Co, of Reading, PA. Circa 1905. In the early 1900's, when elaborate decoration was giving way to inexpensive, lightweight design, a few companies continued to design better quality lighting. Represented here is one of the "high end" Late Victorian and Edwardian electric chandeliers.
Lost wax cast & solid brass, the center pierced cone decoration is unique and desirable in lighting circles, while the "Swan Neck" arms are topped off with one of the most beautiful decorative armbacks we have ever seen.
