Classic letter or mail slot set, which includes a backplate for the inside of the door for a nice, finished appearance.
The letter slot is made of Lost Wax Cast Brass, and has a sturdy spring action door to help protect against wind and precipitation. A popular Ribbon and Wreath design borders the slot for a classic, Victorian look.

Different finishes are available. The polished, unlacquered brass, when left in its natural state, will develop a patina over time just like the antique originals. The Antique Brass Finish is a mellow brown, with slight highlights in the raised areas of the design. Matte black Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish is a popular option for homes with decorative black iron work. For a polished silver finish, choose our Nickel Plated option. Selections can be made in the "Options" menu above.
Each set contains one spring-loaded letter slot, and one backplate.
Mounting screws and threaded bolts are also included. Mounting bolt size is 1/4" diameter, 20 threads per inch.
