Scarce reproduction entrance door plates made by Sargent, circa 1900.  Very nice idea incorporating the thumb latch into the handle design.

Lost Wax cast brass, darkened and lacquered.  Available in our hand-finished Antique Brass Finish or matte black Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish.

While the cylinder hole looks off-center, once a cylinder is installed, the heaviness of the top (cylinder plus thin wreath) is balanced by the thicker wreath at the bottom.

This is an Exterior Entry with Cylinder Lock Set.

The complete door set includes:

• One Interior Door Plate with Turnlatch Function
• One Exterior Door Plate
• One Mortise Lock
• One Cylinder Lock

Measurements:

• Door Plates:  20" tall x 3 ½" wide.
• Mortise Lock:
  • Lock body measures 5 ½" tall by 3 ⁵⁄₈" deep.  ¹³⁄₁₆" thickness.
  • Lock face is 1" wide by 7 ½" long.
  • Backset:  2 ½", including the thickness of the face plate.
  • Catch Plate is 4 ⁷⁄₈" long by 1 ⁷⁄₈".
  • Distance from the center of the cylinder receiver to the thumb latch stem is 4 ¾".
  • Distance from the center of the bolt throw hole to the center of the door knob spindle hole is 2 ½".
