606-TRP-GE Polished Unlacquered Brass Triple Gas & Electric Wall Sconce
606-TRP-DK Antique Brass Finish 3 Light Transitional Wall Sconce
606-TRP-OB Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish Replica Triple Gas & Electric Wall Sconce
Earliest electricity wasn't always 100% reliable, so for a time fixtures often combined reliable gas with electric. This was called transitional lighting. This triple gas & electric combination wall sconce, now fully electric for your convenience, has been recast from an original antique.
Fixture uses a 4" fitter shade on the "up" gas light, and 2 1/4" fitter shades on the down-facing electric lights. Shades are sold separately, for the widest range of décor options. We picture our 4" 041G and 2 1/4" 040G as a suggestion.
If you'd like to add an on/off switch to the base, we provide custom installation for only $25.00. Click here to order the switch.
A few fixtures that would coordinate well with this sconce include a transitional sconce with similar detailing and a candle top, 605-TRP-SA. Our double electric sconce is 604-DAE-ES for smaller lighting needs. The lovely spun brass ball detail in the sconces are matched on the "Question Mark" chandelier 620-HAE-CH. For a more ornate chandelier, try 640-OGS-CH, our Oxley Giddings gaslight treasure.
