L-8 Steel dummy spindle and backplate
For attaching a doorknob to any door not operating a passage or privacy latch. Great for pantries and cupboards using modern magnetic latches, too.
Doorknob collectors also use this handy item for mounting antique doorknobs for display. One designer we met used antique doorknobs (and our reproductions) as a coat rack by mounting the doorknobs on a board, using these dummy spindles.
Thread is 3/8" on a 5/16" square. Base is 1 1/4" diameter. 1 1/4" protrusion.
