452-DEA-ES Polished Unlacquered Brass Elk's Double Sconce
452-ES-DK Antique Brass Finish Elk's Double Sconce
This sconce was made by the Gibson Gas Fixture Works, Philadelphia, PA circa 1900. Their catalog, circa 1890, also shows this fixture.
Originally made exclusively for the Elk's Club. Later, the lights were offered for public sale. The detail of the cast heads and antlers is truly amazing. Even the lifelike bone grain on the horns can clearly be seen.
