Gallery rails are a decorative topping for furniture and cabinets.  They were popular during the Colonial period, and again during the Victorian Colonial Revival.  End post has a single opening into which the rod inserts.  The brass rod used in this series is the 3/16" diameter and comes in 2 lengths.  Order W-2 series, as others have a different finial design.

The finial post measures 9/16" diameter at the base and 1 1/4" tall.

Matching components are:  a gallery center rod finial to join sections; this end post; and a gallery corner finial, with post holes at 90-degree angles.

The brass rod used is:  18" length, and 36" length, both of which may be trimmed as needed.
