We found a series of fantastic Art Deco lights coming from the depression era of America circa 1936. We have catalog references for them showing some very unique designs, and so we have recreated "The Manhattan Line" consisting of two chandeliers and a sconce, plus a grand chandelier suitable for large rooms.
Made from zinc or brass by the Lost Wax casting method (also used for jewelry and bronze artwork). Zinc was the exact same material with which the Art Deco originals were cast. The metal appears a brushed nickel or pewter tone. Brass is slightly stronger and allows additional finish options. We also found unique Art Deco glass for these in both frosted and amber.
You have the choice of either frosted panels (as shown above), or amber panels. Please use the menu above to make your selection.
Measurements:
Height: 45" is the overall height from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial. This chandelier has a stretched standard 3/4" pipe, which can be trimmed to the length you wish to use in a room. In this case, the ceiling canopy slides down the pipe for mounting, and then back up for a finished appearance. We can trim to your chosen length, or it can be done easily on site.
Diameter: 16 1/2"
Wattage:
The five sockets can handle up to 100 watt incandescent bulb each, or purchase our optional LED bulbs to maximize your energy savings. Makes running the chandelier all night long, perhaps as a night light, very economical indeed and cool to the shades as well.
