ANT-912 Pair of slip shade Art Deco Sconces by Markel
This series of Art Deco lights was made by Markel Electric Products of Buffalo, NY, Circa 1936 (a key year in the height of the slip shade lighting era).
These Art Deco Slip Shade sconces were made in cast iron with various finishes. This finish is dark pewter.
The PINK shades too are simply in fantastic condition. The pink shade coloration set into a pewter frame is very striking. A very pleasant combination
These sconces have been completely re-wired in our licensed UL shop with new sockets and all new wiring. We have also replaced the switches, made by Leviton in the 20's...and still made up to four years ago. So these switches, by Leviton are becoming even more antique as we note this.
Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice.
