ANT-830 Art Deco Slip Center Shade Hall Light with Cut Glass Center Panels
Fantastic Art Deco 1930s hall light. This is such an unusual light, it is hard to find a place to start.
One medium base socket is in the center, behind the fine cut glass panels. You can ramp up the wattage since both top and bottom has air flow for heat distribution. But...we will include an LED 24 watt bulb to get you started for free. Not part of the hall light pricing.
This Hall Light has been re-wired in our UL lamp shop with a new socket and wire to UL standards. The new socket can easily take a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Of course, LED bulbs are neat, too.
The five cut glass center panels are just plain gorgeous. They slip in from the top, and I am pleased to say that they are in mint condition with so little roughness that it is not worth discussing.
We have also seen this hall light in a larger chandelier version, so it could look a little familiar, as it does to us.
The metal of the chandelier is, we believe, aluminum (and some iron and steel) for the main fixture metals, which have a nice ambiance of a pewter finish. All a very nice appearance.
