ANT-802 Antique Pair of Two-Arm Wall Sconce Fixtures Circa 1910 - 1920
Lovely pair of double arm wall sconces circa 1910 - 1920. These sconces have a formal Edwardian ambiance, having that silverized look that is so typical of the Edwardian design style. More like an elegant regal look.
These fixtures have the original antique backplate finish, and the original antique shades.
The backplates are cast metal, and have a plated surface that resembles silverizing. Detail is accented by some darken coloration here and there.
The shades are really first class. Embossed panel shades in a darkened tan coloration, with etched decor in each panel. Very striking indeed. The shades are taller, so incandescent or
LED bulbs can be used.

These sconces have been completely rewired in our UL lamp shop with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the switches, which were originally made by Leviton in the 20s. These switches were still being made by Leviton up to three years ago, so they are becoming even more antique as we note this. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
