ANT-684 Pair of Lovely Art Deco Polychrome Sconces Circa 1933
Pair of antique Art Deco slip shade wall sconces by a firm in Cleveland, Ohio called: The Frankelite Co.
Frankelite had a logo which was a stylized "F" in a diamond device, and issued their products under the trade name of Diamond Lighting Equipment. These sconces, circa 1933, were part of the group they named the "Fenwick Series".
Frankelite was a rather small firm, about which very little is known. We have a few examples of their work, and they are always rather unique and attractive stand-alone lights. The name and date of these fixtures is verified by literature from the company, as stated above.
Wonderful condition. The shades are simply a treat, and in remarkable condition. Shades were probably made by Consolidated Glass, or another quality glass house.
