ANT-630 Very Collectable Art Deco Slip Shade 5 Light Chandelier by Globe
Globe Lighting Fixture Mfg Co. was located in Brooklyn, NY on 7th Avenue and 12th Street. They were not as big as companies like Lincoln or Markel, but they did make some very interesting, and uniquely different, Art Deco lights...which are now harder to find.
This 5 slip shade chandelier is just such a hard-to-find, and collectable light. It was stock numbered 4216 in their catalog of 1934-35.
The cast iron frame has bold and striking lines. It is finished in a pewter look with highlights.

The shades are a nice light amber, and will be shown very much nicer once 100 watt bulbs are installed. Our pictures are only taken with 11 watt bulbs, so as to not blow-out the focus of the camera lens.
We have totally re-wired this chandelier in our UL shop with medium base sockets, and new supply wire. Each socket can handle a 100 watt bulb. You might look at our 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs (which are also dimmable), but only consume 9 watts of electricity.
Complete antique Art Deco chandelier by Globe...UL re-wired...with original amber shades: $895.00...plus shipping.
