Fine Streamline Art Deco five light chandelier by Markel Electric Products, Buffalo, New York.

Circa 1935-37.

This was absolutely “top-of-the-line” for this Streamline series, being a six light fixture and having elements of bakelite for the center stem and bottom finial.  A very nice and unusual touch.

This nice chandelier is finished in the “Venetian Bronze” finish (as Markel called it).  It was available either in this nice bronze finish or nickel plated during the 1930's.

Nice original finish and shades...and now...re-wired to current UL standards by our lamp department.

The shades, due to their age, do show a slight variation here and there but all in all...super condition for the age and life they have been through.
