ANT-349 Late Victorian/Edwardian Pair of Ruby shade sconces
Very nice pair of Circa 1910 sconces with the most lovely of ruby etched shades. Just a breath-taking pair of sconces.
The cast iron backplates are finished in an antique hi/lo red-bronzed finish.
Larger than normal, these backplates are a profusion of lovely design elements, least of which, is the fascinating female mask.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed in each. At this time, there is no switch. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
A very nice pair of sconces. Meas: 15” tall. Maximum width of 4 1/2” while the backplate 15” by 4 1/2” max wide. Projects into a room from the wall a 7 1/2”.
