ANT-290 Pair of American Art Deco sconces by Lincoln
Circa 1930s, these sconces have been restored (cleaned up) and re-lacquered but touches of the polychrome paint are still there. Lincoln called these sconces “The Triangle Line”. In their catalog, Lincoln says: “The triangle line gets its name from the suggestion of angles in the design which add the modernistic effect to the style.”
The shades are deeply embossed like carving and the design is excellent.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed just like the originals. A rotary on/off switch has been re-newed as well. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
A very nice pair of sconces. Meas: 11 3/4” tall. The shade has a maximum diameter of 4 1/2”. Projects into a room from the wall a 6 1/2”
