ANT-1411  Antique French Large 12-Arm Brass/Bronze Chandelier Circa 1920

Fine original ormolu brass TWELVE-light chandelier attributed to a French manufacture by style and original fine molding of the castings shown nicely in the photographs.

The shades used in this fixture are originally American and have been adapted to go to fitters that are American standard. And the shades...are nicely patterned with embossed cupids...in keeping with the figural designs cast into the metals. If you note the pictures, some shades might not fit exactly level but overall...the effect is impacting nevertheless.

This chandelier has been re-wired in our UL shop with all new sockets and wiring and is ready to hang and light up. It’s simply a breath-taking example of early period lighting.

Measurements: This fine chandelier is 36” in diameter. It hangs 57” tall. We realize that this height might be too tall for a few homes...so we could reduce it by removing a couple of those gorgeous chain links. 

Prices for original antique rococo chandeliers are all over the map. Sometimes, dealers won’t divulge their prices until you pick up the phone and commit to listening to a sales pitch. Our prices can be half or even up to FIVE times less than other dealer prices but we feel a fair return is fair for all.
