ANT-1407 Antique Art Deco 3 Slip Shade Low Ceiling Light by Globe c.1930
Nice original three slip shade, Art Deco, low-ceiling light (circa 1930). Totally original with depression-era green shades. Shades are in remarkable great condition. Nice pewter finished frame.
Un-seen...at the backside of the metal frame...we noted an original “stress mark” from the original casting process. It made us uncomfortable so we re-enforced it with professional automotive panel compound...it really wasn’t necessary...but we improved it anyway. Naturally…NOT seen when installed and only makes it stronger.
Made by a company called Globe Lighting Fixture Mfg. Co. in Brooklyn. They used the name of “Electrolier” as a trade name.
Completely re-wired to UL standards in our UL shop with three new sockets and lead wire. Complete mounting supplies will be supplied. Each socket could accept a 100 watt normal medium base bulb...either LED or incandescent.
Measurements: If you drew a circle around the outside of the fixture...17” diameter. It hangs from the ceiling a mere 5”.
Price: Sold complete with the green glass shades as shown for $850.00 plus shipping.
