ANT-1403 Pair of Antique Art Deco Slip Shade Wall Sconces by Globe Fixture Mfg. 1935
Globe Lighting Fixture Mfg. Co. was located in Brooklyn, NY on 7th Avenue and 12th street. They were not as big as companies like Lincoln or Markel, but, they did make some very interesting, and uniquely different Art Deco slip shade lights...and now...they are becoming harder to find Art Deco lights.
These sconce frames are cast nickel plated iron. The nickel contrasting with the neat amber shades does make a significant impression. Very striking indeed.
These sconces have been completely re-wired, in our UL shop. New medium-base normal sockets were installed and the sconces also have a new rotary switch nearly identical to the original of the 30’s. Sockets can easily handle 100-watt incandescent or LED bulbs.
Measurements: Overall from the top of the shade to the bottom is 10 1/2”. Maximum width is 6 1/2” with the projection from the wall of 5 1/2”.
All mounting hardware will be supplied.
Price: $750.00 for the pair of UL re-wired antique sconces. Normal shipping charges will be added.
