ANT-1388 Moe Bridges Art Deco 5 Slip Shade Chandelier
Circa 1935, this 5-light Art Deco chandelier was made by Moe Bridges, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This light comes from the series that Moe Bridges called the Croydon Series. The series was always made in cast iron; finishes were “old gold” and “red bronze” and “nickel”.
The shades are in outstanding condition with only the slightest roughness around the fitters...not seen after mounting.
Measurements: The chandelier measures 28 inches tall at this time. The diameter is 17 inches.
Note also that we are supplying the bracket (crossbar) for this light so you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it.
This chandelier has been rewired in our UL shop and it maintains the ambiance of the original 1930’s light. Commensurate with age...there are some repairs...not visible...and the ceiling canopy does have a small section missing (see picture)...probably removed to string wire since often wiring of the time was surface mounted. Part of the age factor but must be mentioned. Price has been adjusted down to compensate.
Price: Outstanding, documented Moe Bridges chandelier with near-mint glass shades with UL rewiring: $950.00, plus shipping.
