ANT-1359  Mid-Century Modern or Deco Pair of Brass & Bakelite Wall Sconces

These sconces are simply unusual and do cross a few decorative lines. The back plate has staggered arrow design (streamline deco) while the bottom of the torch stem is ribbed Catalin (Bakelite-of the deco material)--unusual and really different. They were re-wired, in our UL shop, with new sockets and new lead wire.

The shades are sooo different. Interpretations can vary but the look is unique.

While we see the MCM (Mid-Century Modern) applications, they could also be used with streamline deco décor--unusual and striking appearance.

Measurements: They measure about 5 1/2” wide by about 14” tall and protrude into a room about 7 1/2”.

We are supplying the bracket (crossbar) for each sconce; so literally, you can hang these lights and have them working minutes after receiving it. 

It’s really a classic Mid-Century modern look.
