ANT-1351 Very Collectable Art Deco Slip Shade Hall Light by Globe
Globe Lighting Fixture Mfg. Co. was located in Brooklyn, NY on 7th Avenue and 12th Street. They were not as big as companies like Lincoln or Markel, but, they did make some very interesting and uniquely different Art Deco lights...and now...much harder to find Art Deco lights.
This slip shade hall light is just such a “hard-to-find” and collectable light. Having two slip shades surrounding a single light bulb is a very nice offering. The detailed castings are really a step above the larger companies. And the finish...red bronze finish over mixed metals all blending together.
The amber shades show a bit of roughness after 90 years of use but are really quite nice commensurate with their age.
We have re-wired this collectable chandelier in our UL shop with medium base brass socket and new supply wire and have added a ground wire to be UL approved.
Measurements: Overall from the top of the canopy to the bottom of the finial is 23”. The body of the hall light measures 7” x 5” in width. The length can be increased...if so desired…for a small additional charge.
Price: Complete UL Slip shade hall light by Globe: $850.00...plus shipping.
