ANT-1287 Iconic Pair of Streamline Art Deco Candle Sconces
Nice pair of Circa 1920 wall sconces. Original angular design Streamline pewter-finished sconces.
This design is so Iconic of the streamline movement that it almost falls over into the “Modern” era of design. Not easy to find a design like these.
The metal, of the backplates, is cast metal. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. The sockets used are normal candelabra based sockets so any decorative bulb, made for this normal socket, will work. But...we will include the bulbs shown. The tubes, under the bulbs, are white opal glass which does show you the quality of these sconces.
These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and were still made up to four years ago. So these switches, by Leviton, are becoming even more antique as we note this.
Measurements: The Overall sconce height is 13”. Width is 5”. It will project into the room, from the wall, a mere 4 3/4”.
We will also supply the mounting kits for each sconce.
Price: For the complete iconic pair of Deco sconces: $550.00 plus careful packing and shipping.
