ANT-1250 Pleasing Pair of 1920's to 30's Sconces with Etched Ruby Shades
The backplates are cast metal with a lovely pewter patina and some interesting motifs which could be applied to Art Deco...or...Arts & Crafts...or...even Edwardian decor. A rather flexible design. The arm is brass which is a nice contrasting element.
The shades are great etched, two pattern, ruby glass. The picture shows both patterns but obviously, they both can be oriented to show either the deer or the geometric shield pattern in any manner you choose.
The shades are a bit taller than normal making it nice for bulb selection. Tubular bulbs give a nice elongated light source.
Age related conditions: One backplate has a bite in it. Picture is shown. And the tube for one sconce is a little tweaked but not too bad. Both conditions are related by lower pricing.
Measurements: 10 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" wide (at the backplate) and the sconce projects from the wall 5".
Completely rewired to UL standards in our UL shop with new medium base sockets. No rotary switches, but, if desired...they could be added for a slight extra cost.
Price: $595.00 for the neat sconces with shades...complete with mounting hardware. Shipping is a bit extra
