Antique Lincoln Mfg. Quality Slip Shade Chandelier c.1935 (ANT-1240)

ANT-1240  Antique Lincoln Mfg. Quality Slip Shade Chandelier c.1935

This 5-shade chandelier was made by Lincoln Manufacturing who were ONE of the largest makers of slip shade lighting in America, and who, even sold to Sears. We “know” Lincoln design and castings quite well, having handled hundreds of their various products.

This particular chandelier is unique because of the design of the shades. It came from the series called “Dinalite”.

It has attributes that are DIFFERENT from Virden or Markel or Acme or Frankenlite or Halcolite or Globe. The positioning of the shade, being upside down, was a favorite variation of Lincoln that was hardly ever used by any other manufacturer.

The fixture is aluminum with a realistic metal pewter finish. Lincoln Mnf. was a aluminum foundry rather than cast iron or cast zinc.

The shades are just so neat. Amber glass with floral reliefs. Being hand made antique shades...there will even be a few manufacturing imperfections..like tiny bubbles there-in. Again.....if you need “perfect”, don’t buy this ANTIQUE chandelier. Because there is some roughness to the shades...we are delighted to say that we will include ONE extra free shade with this fixture. Since they all have wear & tear...we think that this is only fair.

Measurements & Wiring: Totally re-wired with new sockets and wire in our UL shop. It’s ready to hang and we will supply all the necessary parts to do so easily. It is 27” tall. It has an 16” diameter.

Each rewired socket can use up to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. With old glass however, we like to dial down the wattage whenever possible and using cooler running LED lights is a real plus.

Price: $950.00 plus shipping.
