ANT-1217 Antique Art Deco Streamline 5-Shade Chandelier
Not every chandelier made during the Depression, in Art Deco style, was a slip shade light. This is a great example of an Art Deco Streamline chandelier, with its original glass shades, that was made circa 1936-38.
The finish is totally original. Bronze-look frame elements contrasting with nickel plated body parts. A very striking combo. Naturally, with age...there is a tiny bit of thinning of the nickel plating here and there.....but it is an antique after all.
The four outside shades are a lovely amber glass and very nicely done too. The center shade varies a bit in color due to the different manufacturing process but nicely blending and has two bulbs inside the bowl. The bowl is removeable for bulb changing by un-screwing that neat bottom finial.
Measurements: 24” over all height, but, could be lengthened by adding more chain. It has a diameter of 22”.
Re-wired in our UL registered shop. Each socket is fully capable of a 100 watt bulb.
Price: $795.00 for this neat and unusual Streamline design Art Deco chandelier plus a small shipping charge.
