ANT-1215 American Pair of Edwardian Design Fancy Sconces

Circa 1920-30's, these sconces are cast iron but have a magnificent original Antique Red Bronze finish that is one of the best we have seen. We had to take a picture of the backplates, without shades, just to show this magnificent finish.

The shades are an earthy mottled tan-brownish with a floral garland. It is thin blown white cased glass on the inside. Matching the earthy bronze tones of the backplate quite well.

The shades are rather small, so a large light bulb will protrude. We suggest, and will supply one of our smaller LED bulb, 45G-E26B bulb. We will supply one for each sconce as a courtesy. This bulb will give an ambiance and great longevity as well.

Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal sockets for everyday medium base bulbs were installed. The original Bakelite knob switch tested good, so we just re-wired it and used it to maintain as much originality as possible.

All mounting hardware will be supplied.
