ANT-1214 Near Matched Pair of Art Deco 5-Shade Chandeliers by Estellite (SOLD EACH)
Art Deco five light chandeliers by Estellite. Circa 1936. Estellite was a very small company that hardly anyone knows about. They made some very unusual chandeliers and sconces which confuses most dealers...but...we are fortunate to have their 1936 catalog.
There are a few scarce lights that come up, occasionally, on the market today, that were made by Estellite. Most dealers scratch their heads and misattribute them to one of the other big makers but were really made by Estellite. Estellite created very interesting and different designed shades.
This nearly matched pair of chandeliers, from their 1900 Line, were stock numbered as No. 1913. Each chandelier is sold separately.
Cast iron frames having a darkened COPPER finish with some darkening which does remind you of earlier “Japanned Finishes’...and they have nicely contrasting frosted shades. The metal Copper finished metal with the frosted shades certainly does accent and contrast with each other.
Re-wired to current UL standards with new standard medium base sockets and wiring, by our UL licensed lamp department.
Each Five shade Chandelier varies a bit from each other (but not much) in finish probably due to the care and area of the home that they were in.
Measuring a mere 14" tall with a diameter of about 18" from shade tip to shade tip, these are truly nice offerings especially for placement in a lower ceiling area.
A complete UL mounting crossbar set will be included with each chandelier.
Price: Each chandelier is $850.00 plus careful packaging and shipping.
