ANT-1198 Late Victorian or Edwardian Hall Light, Circa 1900
This very ornate single-light lantern consists of a four sides of, very hard to find, SHAPED AMBER crackle glass panels. It has a single medium size socket inside which can take bulbs up to and including 100 watts. The effect is amazing.
Normally, these lights are found with one or more of the panels damaged and/or missing. It is very nice to find one complete.
This Hall Lantern has been completely re-wired in our UL shop and is ready to hang. We have recessed the socket so you can even go with long LED tubes if so desired but we will also supply two simple adapters to lower the center of the bulb chosen to allow the light to find that sweet spot that gives the best ambiance position.
The finish of this lantern is old gold with heavy ornate draping and reticulated border and fretwork. Even the ceiling canopy has a design. All very nice indeed.
Measurements: The Overall Hall Lantern height is 29". It could be made longer by adding more chain. There are two widths. The main body of the lantern has a diameter of 8 1/2” and the side spikes add 3” making the diameter 11 1/2”.
A full mounting kit will be supplied.
Edwardian Hall Light: $895.00 plus careful packing and shipping.
