ANT-1178  Antique Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier Made by Lincoln

Impressive, Circa 1935, made by Lincoln Lighting Products of Detroit, Michigan.  This light came from a series that they called the Triangle Line (by Lincoln) with the added catalog promo:

“The Triangle Line gets it’s name from the suggestions of angles in the design which adds the modernistic effect to the style. The conventional flowers and deep cut engraving complete a very pleasing assembly while the beautiful golden or orchid glass shades hide the bulbs and prevent a glaring light.” (Taken from original Lincoln 1930's catalog.)

The finish of the light is good, being self colored aluminum with a nice dark line in the cracks accenting the design of the light. There are the odd touches of remaining color to the floral accents. The detail of the carved shades in this pendant is simply outstanding. These carved amber shades are simply remarkable for color and design and condition. Amber is normally preferred when collecting art deco lighting...and you really have to go some distance to find nicer deeply carved amber shades than these.

This light has been rewired in our UL shop and still has the ambiance of a 1930's light. New sockets, with new central lead wire, were installed. Each socket is capable of a 100 watt bulb or purchase optional LED bulbs to maximize your energy savings. Makes running this ceiling light all night long, perhaps as a night light, very economical indeed and cool to the shade as well. 

This fixture measures 18 inches tall, from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial, and has a diameter of 16 inches. We will supply the bracket (crossbar) for this light so, literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it.
