ANT-1158  Striking Pair of Swan Sconces with Quality Embossed Shades

Edwardian or 20’s style “not too old”....say 40 to 50 years....pair of antique finished swan sconces. Judging by the original sockets, that were replaced,  the origin was European and probably French. Now they are re-wired for American current and bulbs.

The floral embossed shades are most definitely in the style of Art Deco in their design as they are cremey—just slightly yellowish— that are two-tone reveal.  These are quality shades.

The metal is nicely cast brass and has an antique finished. There has been a slight repair to one sconce’s backplate which is rather hard to see since it is between the wings. We have taken a picture to show that repair and position.  Not a big deal but we need to mention it.

These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets.

Measurements: The overall sconce height is 12”. The maximum width is  7”. The projection from the wall is 4 1/2”.

Price for the UL re-wired PAIR of sconces: $850.00 plus careful packing and shipping.

Price would be much higher if there was not that tiny repair to the one backplate.
