ANT-1137  Moe Bridges Art Deco 6-Shade Chandelier with 5 Side Slip Shades and Bottom Shade

Circa 1935 Six-light Art Deco chandelier made by Moe Bridges,  Milwaukee, Wisconsin.   

Typically, these frames are made from cast iron and have an old gold finish, or, a contrasting pewter finish—like this one.

The shades are in outstanding condition with only the slightest roughness around the fitters...not seen after mounting. The slip shades are dark amber in color and the bottom shade differs just slightly lighter...which is so typical with 6-light chandeliers.

This chandelier measures 29 inches tall. The diameter is 19 inches.   

Note also that we are supplying the bracket (crossbar) for this light so literally,  you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it.

This chandelier has been rewired in our UL shop and it maintains the ambiance of the original 1930s light. Each slip shade uses a normal medium base bulb but the bottom shade has a chandelier base socket. We like a small LED bulb in that bottom shade position...so...we will include this one bulb to see if you like it too. You can also see a switch that used to function on the bowl but it is just decoration now unless you wished it to be replaced and re-activated.  

Being a 6-light, these are normally considered top of the line for shade count.
