ANT-1117  Great Set of Four Antique Streamline Art Deco Sconces c1938

Lovely set of Circa 1930s Romanesque Streamline design wall sconces. Original antique backplates and matching lined opal shades. The finish is pewter with high and low contrasts.

The column design of the backplates, which also matches the lined design of the shades, just says "Romanesque Streamline Deco”. The pewter finished backplates with opal design shades match very nicely indeed.

The backplates have been obviously “sand cast” and do show a bit of roughness here and there as the antique process creates. If you need “perfect”- don’t buy this set. If you desire “antique” by old methods with an antique look, these could very well be for you.

These sconces have been completely rewired with all new sockets and wire to UL standards in our registered UL shop. Medium base sockets were installed as well as a rotary switch to replace the faulty antique ones.

Measurements:  The Overall sconce height is 14 1/2". The maximum width is 4 1/2".  It will project into the room, from the wall, 6 3/4”.
