ANT-1100 Pair of American Art Deco Sconces with Amber Glass Shades by Riddle
Cast 1920-30 Art Deco sconces with interesting amber shades. Reminds you of theater foot lights at the edge of the stage. These sconces were made by Riddle of Toledo, Ohio and are impressed signed on the back, of the wall plate, as one of the pictures will show.
Riddle was known for their exact and beautiful castings. The detail of these sconces is really quite exquisite. Nice contrasting, too, with a high-low pewter finish. Striking with the amber shades.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal sockets for everyday medium base bulbs was installed. The backplate has a rotary switch for on and off. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
Measurements: Overall height is 14”. Overall widest part is the shade which is 5” wide. Projects into the room 5 1/2”.
