ANT-1092 Pair of pewter finished Art Deco Slip Shade Wall Sconces

True high-end quality original cast iron & pewter finished antique frames with a lovely patina...Circa 1930.

These Art Deco Slip Shade sconces were the only sconces made for this series of slip shade lights. It is difficult to cast reticulated backplates, like these, as any casting man will tell you.

These fixtures are just in such nice condition. The shades too are simply in fantastic condition with amber finish and displaying dashes of clear center design.

Measures:  12" tall with a width of 5 1/4", they project into a room (from the wall) a mere 5”.

These sconces have been completely re-wired, in our UL shop, with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and still made up to four years ago. So these switches, by Leviton are becoming even more antique as we note this.
