ANT-1090  Lovely Pair of Circa 1920 Wall Sconces

Original antique backplates and original antique SATIN opal embossed shades.

The pictures just do not do these fantastic shades justice at all. Heavily embossed...not black marks but a smooth to-the-touch Edwardian quality.

These sconces have a lovely Edwardian pewter finish with striking contrasts.

A great design that is so typical of the Edwardian style having some late Victorian flourishes.

The metal, of the backplates, is cast white metal with a lovely pewter finish. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. And, to protect the original antique shades, we would suggest LED bulbs which do not produce heat the way incandescent bulbs do. These sconces have been completely re-wired, in our UL shop, with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the switches.

Measurements:  The Overall sconce height is 17”. The maximum width (shade) is 6 1/2”. It will project into the room, from the wall 10”.
