ANT-1060 Pair of Lightolier Art Deco Slip Shade Sconces
Circa 1920, these sconces were made by Lightolier and a great “original” paper label is still in position on one of the sconces.
The backplates have a pewter, hi/lo finish and are quite nice. However, these backplates have been modified. Nothing added...but a center finial was removed. I see the effect and someone preferred this design.
The shades are basic opal glass very white in color.
Pretty good condition considering their age.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed just like the originals. The sconces mount with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from behind the shade. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
A very nice pair of sconces.
Measurements: 9 1/2” tall. And a maximum width of 5 1/2”. Projects into a room from the wall a 4”
Price: For the complete, UL re-wired pair of slightly modified sconces, $ 550.00 plus careful shipping.
