ANT-1019 Art Deco Streamline 6 Light Chandelier by Mid-West Mnf
Fine Streamline Art Deco six shade chandelier ...Circa 1935-37 made by Mid-West Mnf of “North” Kansas City, MO. They called this series: “The Beverly”. And this was the top-of-the-line chandelier for this series.
The six shade versions of all Deco Series Lights were always top-of-the-line for every Art Deco slip shade series from every company.
This nice chandelier is finished in the a mixed nickel and what Mid-West called their “Venetian Bronze” finish. It was also available in a nice old gold with nickel highlights finish during the 30s. It was definitely a contrast that was part of the streamline statement in lighting.
We have seen this Beverly arrive in a variation of stem and finial combinations and here is another different one.. There must have been a “custom” choice in the showroom at some locations.
This chandelier has been totally re-wired with new sockets and wires, in our UL approved shop, and is ready to go. There are E-26 normal medium base sockets for the slip shades and 2 E12 chandelier sockets for the bottom center shade. A nice arrangement when all alite.
We will also supply a mounting kit so you can have this chandelier hung-up quickly.
Nice orignal finish and shades and this finish is considered “good” for this age of fixture.
